Ninja Norman Vs Spiderbot WIP

This is something i've started working on the last couple o' days. Done a quick render of what I've done so far. Still got a lot to do, and finish it off. Put some fancy stuff in there or something. Just hope i finish it and don't get too bored. We'll see... KAPOW!!!

Done!! It's finally rendered...

After about 4 days of trying, i've finally manages to render this bad boy, which means i can put it to rest and move on. I did enjoy this piece, but have grown to loathe it slightly. Enjoyed animating it though. Happy with the outcome, hopefully the next piece will be better, since i'm learning egg loads from doing these!! Anyways..

Nothing to do with buttons. This is a section of an animation i started last week. The audio is from Benjamin Button, and its about 22 seconds long. This is the first 8 seconds of it, still in early stages.

11 Second club April

Decided to have crack at this months competition. This time I really got into it but didn't get to finish it, also changed it slightly with a week to go. Fairly happy with it, not having done character animation like this for a while, there's a few things that i wish i tidied up before entering, especially the last half, but due to technical difficulties I didn't get to do it. Also next time i'll use my video reference a lot more. But enjoyed it, happy with it, liked doing lip sync, look forward to doing more.

Quick lip sync

Here's a little bit of animation to March's 11 second club sound clip. I initially planned to take part in the competition but through the blocking stage lost interest in what i was doing. I didn't like what i had blocked out n decided to leave it. I picked it back up last week and forced myself to continue with what i had blocked out and i couldn't stop. It's my first bit of lip sync in years im afraid but it was great getting into it. Hopefully i'll be doing more soon. Anyways here it is :)

Safe platforms??

So this is an animation i have been working on in bits over the last say, 2 weeks. There's a fair few things that could still be done but i feel i've given it more than enough attention. The point of this was to sort of explore the changing of state in the character, and throw in some comedy cartoon timing. Again there is still things that need work on, i dont feel i have pushed it far enough but i've got some good stuff out of it. Anyways.

Another maya venture...

So this is a little something i've done with the joe rig by mike urbanek. lot's of fun to play with so i've started another, much longer, animation piece using him. trying out a different, more cartoony, style to what i'm normally used to in work and what i've done in the past. Anyways...

Had a play with the rig that's being put together over on the 11 second club site. Them guys are doing a well good job, It's looking really good n it's fun to animate with. Spent a couple of hours doing this before christmas, only now decided to upload it. Hopefully will get another opportunity to animate it..
